Notice for the Deadline under the Specified Investors' System

We hereby announce that the deadline for transferring from a general investor to a specified investor under the Specified Investors' System is August 31 of each year.

About the Professional Investor System

The Professional Investor System is a system under which customers are classified as "Professional Investors" (customers who meet certain requirements) and "Customers other than Professional Investors" (general investors) in accordance with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law, and financial instruments firms are not subject to certain conduct regulations with respect to transactions with customers who are classified as Professional Investors.

Expiration Date

Under the Professional Investor System, customers who are Professional Investors are allowed to change to General Investors, or customers who are General Investors are allowed to change to Professional Investors, for each type of contract under certain conditions.

However, under the law, there is a time limit on the period during which general investors can be treated as Professional Investors, and each financial instruments business operator is allowed to set the end date of such period (the "Expiration Date") at its discretion, within one year from the date of acceptance of the transfer from a general investor to a Professional Investor. The deadline date is within one year from the date of acceptance of the transfer from a general investor to a Professional Investor.

In principle, the expiration date of the transfer from a General Investor to a Professional Investor is August 31 of each year.
